Does headcount affect cost per person?
Yes — larger headcounts generally reduce cost per person due to economies of scale on venue, AV, and fixed vendor fees. For example, a 500-pax D&D often costs 10–20% less per pax than a 100-pax event at the same tier, since fixed costs like stage and AV production are spread across more attendees.
Are these costs inclusive of GST?
No — all figures shown are exclusive of Singapore GST (currently 9%). Add 9% to all totals for final billing. Some venues and hotels also charge an additional 10% service charge on F&B, so the full markup can be +19% on food and beverage components.
What is the difference between budget, mid-range, and premium tier?
Budget tier uses function rooms, buffet F&B, basic AV, and modest decor. Mid-range tier uses hotel ballrooms or dedicated event spaces, sit-down or buffet with better quality, professional AV, and designed decor. Premium tier covers CBD luxury venues, multi-course dining, full staging with LED production, floral decor, professional photography team, and celebrity or professional emcee.
